Dr Inga Schader
My main focus as a GP has been to encourage maintenance of health and wellness in my patients, ideally preventing illness before it can really take a firm footing wherever possible. Having a 6-12 monthly health check or "warrant of fitness" can be very helpful in ensuring optimal health rather than waiting until illness emerges acutely. At the same time, I treasure the role of a family doctor in being available to treat medical problems at times of need and ensuring good quality care, follow up and communication as central to the doctor patient relationship.
I enjoy using integrative medicine approaches, incorporating health measures including diet, exercise and mind body strategies to assist healing and recovery. I have a special interest in women’s health, hormones, mental health and I love working with children. I am really looking forward to meeting the local community and I have been fortunate to be supported by my lovely family in this new adventure here in the Bangalow area.
