Megan Savins (Practice Manager)

Dip Pract. Mgt, MAAPM, JP

Megan has worked in general practice since 1981. She obtained a degree in Practice Management through the University of New England in 2000. She is also a Justice of the Peace.

Megan has been employed with BMC since 2000 and lives in the local area with her husband and 2 school aged children on their cattle property. Her interests include hockey, watching her children play soccer and dancing, horses, cattle and showing and breeding pure breed poultry with her husband and children.

Rhonda has been employed at BMC since 2001 has been a registered nurse since 1979. Rhonda is also immunization accredited. Rhonda was previously employed by Sullivan and Nicolaides as a pathology collection nurse in this area and visited many of our current patients in this position.

She is married with 1 school aged child and enjoys walking and watching her daughter play netball. She lives locally on her property, which grows macadamias, custard apples and avocados.

Anne Hosking

Receptionist

Anne has been our longest serving employee of 26 years at the Bangalow Medical Centre. She was born and raised in the local area and is married with 4 children and now has 6 grandchildren. She enjoys watching all her children and grandchildren play their various sports from soccer to netball and walking daily with her friends.

Marcia Palazzi

Receptionist

Marcia joined the Bangalow Medical Centre in 2005. She's married with 2 school aged children. Enjoys plenty of fresh air and sunshine. She and her family are keen members of the local surf club. Her hobbies include travel, photography and painting (something she says is achieved without an artistic bone in her body!)

Sherese Hannigan

Receptionist

Sherese was born at Lismore Hospital and has lived at Bangalow for 28 years. She had lived in Brisbane for 5 years before travelling extensively overseas with her husband Paul. After her big adventure overseas, Paul and Sherese moved back to Bangalow to be closer to family.

Sherese has 2 lovely school age girls and she is heavily involved in the Bangalow Bluedogs Soccer Club as the women's registrar and on the committee. All her family play soccer for Bangalow. Sherese also has a degree in Hairdressing and certificates in Nannying and child care.

June Woffenden

Receptionist

June joined our team earlier this year. She has a diploma in aromatherapy, diploma in remedial massage and a diploma in hypnotherapy. She enjoys living with her cat and enjoying restoring furniture, gardening, dressmaking and reading.

Helen Scarrabelotti

Caretaker

Helen is big part of the team, she has been keeping the Bangalow Medical Centre spotless on a daily basis since 1999. She lives with her husband and son locally on their cattle property, where they grow probably the best tasting bananas around.
